Parameter 111 = 43200 (report battery level twice per day) Parameter 101 = 1 (report only battery level) Uses the same settings as the motion sensor reports above Use these settings only if you do not care for the other sensor reports in the area the MultiSensor 6 is located in. These are great settings for optimizing battery life while using only motion as the primary report. Motion Sensor only on battery power (conserve battery life) - disable all other automatic reports Parameter 5 = 2 (report Binary Sensor report, Homeseer likes this report better than Basic set which is the default) - Parameter 4 = 5 (set max sensitivity for motion sensor) Parameter 3 = 240 (timeout motion after 240 seconds from triggering, you can adjust this to your taste as low as 10 seconds) Regardless, these are my recommendations based on different use cases. Typically the best settings will ultimately depend on how often you want the motion sensor to trigger. ![]() As an added tip here is the setting for the LED light So small, so smart.I got this from Aeotec Support. But has these that also work great: (I use to have several of these) The Smartest House Zooz Z-Wave Plus Power Switch ZEN15 for Heavy Duty Appliances I use GE’s GE Zigbee wall plugs on my washer and dryer (gas dryer is only 120 volts) and those work great along with being great Zigbee mesh repeaters. It’s certainly doable any many people here have done that.Īnother option could be to add a power monitoring wall plug. You could use ST’s multipurpose sensor to detect vibration, but if it’s close to other things that would cause vibration or bang into/on those appliances you could get false notifications. I have a V3 ST hub and prefer (actually like the old app better but…) to use the new app. Can anyone recommend a Vibration sensor for monitoring when my washer and/or dryer is running? Or suggest another way to monitor it? ![]()
